Love In Every Season – Spring

Are you noticing the days getting longer? The sun shining brighter? Robins arriving to their summer homes perched in your beautiful budding trees? Spring has arrived and everything is beginning to bloom brighter. Although, around here the snow seems to be oblivious to the change of seasons LOL.
As promised, Love In Every Season has now sprung to Spring. Months ago, I wrote about Love In Every Season – Fall as well as Love In Every Season – Winter. Now that the earth’s axis is shifting to provide more warmth to our nation, there’s no better time than to share Love In Every Season – Spring with all of you.
A flower cannot blossom without sunshine and man cannot live without love… Max Muller
According to the Bible App devotional – Love In Every Season, Spring is a season full of growth. Plants need give and take in order to grow full and luscious. Similarly, relationships need this as well. If you are in a relationship where you are either only giving or only receiving – a one way relationship – the relationship will struggle to grow. There is no give and take therefore, it will soon die. There must be the right amount of give and take – just like what Mother Nature provides for plants – in order to produce a healthy relationship.
Around our home in Spring, we begin to cultivate, clean up, plant, and ready our homes and yards for what summer will provide. This is the same for our relationships in Spring. It’s a time where we take note, assess, kneed, nurture and shape the important aspects of our relationships with regards to our own give and take roles.
It’s a gentle exchange. What we nurture with care and intention in the spring blossoms into beauty by summer, and that beauty gives back to us in the most rewarding ways.
This is how relationships work as well. The work and love you put into your spouse or significant other – as well as yourself for betterment towards your spouse or significant other – simply pays off with reward. Your spouse then feels valued and appreciated (watch them bloom and glow with beauty and low)
So, this Spring – when you are preparing your home and yard for the season to come – also prepare your own heart and soul for the flourishing blooms of your loved one. A beautiful home isn’t just about what is on the outside with its gorgeous tulips and daffodils, but more importantly, it’s what is blooming on the inside with the oneness and connection of your spouse.
Do the work and cherish the reward. Aren’t they worth it? I think so.
