Twenty-Five
The year 25 has many significances and is such a milestone. After a bit of research, when you break down the number – the number 2 represents balance or connection and the number 5 represents a change or adventure. Putting the two together often means a connection will occur offering an adventure or change. In other words, it reflects the beauty of connection meeting the readiness for new direction.
This couldn’t be more true! Our beautiful daughter is turning 25 this week. This year, so many milestones have occurred and one of them being graduating and becoming such a fantastic teacher inspring so may fresh new young minds. A new beginning into the world to inspire, connect and build connections.
When I look at my daughter, I see such a glorious spark. She lights up anyones life who is fortunate to become connected with. The joy, laughter, and love our daughter has brought to our lives is countless. And now, somehow in a blink of a eye, our baby girl has grown into a strong, compassionate, brilliant woman.
As you turn 25 – a quarter of a century – this milestone carries its own gentle significance. It’s a moment where youthful possibility meets mature understanding; where your dreams begin to align with your direction – all while keeping that spark of childlike joy inside of your soul.
What does 25 really mean?
- Old enough to know yourself
- Young enough to reinvent yourself
- Experience enough to choose wisely
- Brave enough to take risks
Aside: This makes me think of a Kelsey Ballerini song – In Between – and it was my daughter who introducd this song to me as we drove her to university for the first time many years ago.
This year isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about trusting that you already hold the tools and wisdom to navigate whatever life brings. You’ve lived long enough to understand who you are, and yet young enough to step boldly into who you are becoming.
We have watched you face challenges with grace, love others unconditionally, work incredibly hard, and yet stay true to your godly faith. You have a gift for bringing laughter and joy to our family near and far.
I pray for this 25th incredible year for you to celebrate how far you’ve come, everything you’ve accomplished, and the love you’ve experienced so far. I hope you know how remarkable you are and that you are capable of so many extraordinary things and I certainly hope you know that your family loves you more than words can say.
